Busy times…
The fall schedule is picking up…
The full band will be back in action at Nick’s in Worcester on October 26th for three sets, and at our old stomping ground in Southbridge at starlite for three sets on November 2nd and November 29th.
We’re working on a special recording project right now. Will keep you posted as soon as it’s complete.
Tony will be doing a series of solo poetry shows on Tuesdays coming up — in Worcester at the Raven on October 10th, at Bull Feeney’s in Portland ME on October 17th, and at the Deuce in Northampton, MA on November 14th.
Faro’s amazing metal project, Let Us Prey, continues to roar about the Northeast behind the release of their EP, “The Saint Of Killers.” And Chris O’Donnell’s rip-snortin’ cover band, “Seed RaCeR,” plays the Southeastern MA and RI circuit on a regular basis. Hit those band names up on Facebook for the details.
Finally…Tony’s Patreon site (where folks can pledge monthly amounts as small as a dollar a month for access to exclusive content) is picking up steam, and he recently put out a new eBook version of an unpublished manuscript, “White Pages,” to an upper level tier of patrons. Money from those pledges have gone to things like the upkeep and maintenance of this Website, among other things, so feel free to join up if you’re a fan.

Here’s a video for a new piece by Tony, “How We Keep Time At This Age.” It’s from the Facebook page “Performances In Improbable Places.” He’s in a hot dog restaurant. Something the band will probably work on at some point…the piece, not the hot dogs. Although they are really good hot dogs. And the place is cool.
This one time, at Nick’s?
Well, it’s over, and we couldn’t be happier.
Three sets at Nick’s last night where we successfully tailored our sound to a different kind of room and did some fine work. We premiered a new piece, “Black Rum Funk” — a duet between OD on drums and Tony on vocals — and dug back into the ancient catalog for full-band performances of “Las Lloronas,” “Interrogation,” and “Snakes On A Plane,” as well as an impromptu freestyle poem over Faro’s bass-tapping showcase version of “Zombie Nation.” Chris Lawton’s guitar skills were in fine form on “Trinity Tango” and a reworked arrangement of “Funk 101.” A good time for all and sundry. Thanks to all who came out for it!
Our next show will be a duo show of Tony and Faro for Easton Cable Access TV on September 21st. More in the works…stay tunes.

Nick’s is an intimate cabaret style venue, one of Worcester’s finest; home of jazz, poetry, folk, and what have you, as well as some of the best bar staff and patrons you’ll find anywhere. Our track “Neighborhood Bar” is at least in part inspired by the vibe at Nick’s. We’re looking forward to out first full evening there.
Starts around 9; no cover, but donations and merchandise transactions will be welcomed.
We”d like to make Nick’s a regular stop on the circuit. A great turnout would help. Hope to see you!!!
